VAPHA's goal is to help develop a first-rate public health workforce that is connected, informed and highly capable of improving the public’s health in Virginia.
It does this by:
- Developing and promoting continuing education events
- Providing information on public health training and certification
- Providing information on employment and internships
- Presenting awards for outstanding achievements
