Certifications
National Board of Public Health Examiners was established in September 2005 as an independent organization, the purpose of which is to ensure that students and graduates from schools and programs of public health accredited by the Council on Education of Public Health (CEPH) have mastered the knowledge and skills relevant to contemporary public health. This purpose will be accomplished by developing, preparing, administering and evaluating a voluntary certification exam.
The exam is the first step of the Certified in Public Health credentialing process, which is the result of a multi-decade effort to heighten the visibility of the public health profession and to standardize core public health knowledge across core disciplines.
The next Certified in Public Health (CPH) exam is scheduled for October 5-26, 2013. Click here to register.
