Facilitating Community Change Through Environmental Approaches
This workshop will introduce participants to the use of environmental approaches as a strategy to create community change and improve public health in the areas of obesity prevention tobacco, alcohol, and other drug prevention. Interactive approaches will be utilized to understand how to assess, build capacity, plan, implement and evaluate environmental approaches. Additionally, participants will learn how to mobilize community members and influence policy in these health behaviors.
