PRESENTED BY: This program is a collaborative effort of the Virginia Public Health Association, the Maryland Association of County Health Officers, The Maryland Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, the University of Virginia Master of Public Health Program, the Institute for Public Health Innovation, the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Commonwealth Public Health Training Center.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At completion of the webinar, participants should be able to:
1. Provide a brief overview of County Health Rankings.
2. Explore opportunities for integrated public health and planning practice in creating healthier neighborhoods and communities.
3. Explore the convergence of values, design, and management aspects of practice.
4. Share strategies, promising practices, and policies to promote cross-pollination among planners, public health practitioners and other disciplines that impact health and quality of life.
5. Strengthen regional connectivity and networking.
