VDH Commissioner: Priorities of VDH

Dr. Karen Remley, Commissioner, Virginia Department of Health (VDH) presented the priorities of VDH to the Joint Commission on Health Care on Sept. 4. VDH's priorities are improving children's health, immunizations, obesity, infant mortality); access to health care; emergency preparedness and response; and being responsible stewards of taxpayer funds.
