VAPHA's President-Elect Tilahun Adera has been appointed dean of the College of Health and Social Services (CHSS) at New Mexico State University, effective July 1, 2009. Dr. Adera has served as the Affiliate Representative to APHA's Governing Council for two years and is co-leading the work group to plan the VAPHA Conference in the Fall, 2009.
