Participation in VAPHA

VAPHA is an old organization with a new focus and energy.   The aim of the Board of Directors is to grow this organization so that it can become a powerful presence and advocate for public health in our Commonwealth.

You may find that you can secure the most benefit from your membership by becoming involved.  As an active member, you can help us:

• advocate for the public’s health, while reflecting our multiple viewpoints but common focus;
• build our website into a rich resource for all public health professionals;
• plan and deliver accessible and relevant continuing education events;
• be recognized as a scientifically-based, non-partisan resource on public health issues;
• bring people together for multidisciplinary collaboration.
